Using the Operation36 Curriculum Coach Andrew from ACM Golf is the first in Switzerland to use progress tracking and practice drills as well as online theory testing. 

Course Authorisation & Your First Handicap

In order to be allowed to play on a course in Switzerland,  players need a "Course Authorisation" which is similar to a  driving license for cars. The"Course Authorisation" is obtained by passing a theoretical and a practical exam.Course authorisation ensures you can play safely, maintain a good pace, and understand the basic rules.

How to Get Course Authorisation

Theory Test – 40 etiquette & rule questions (pass with 28+ correct answers).
Practical Test – Supervised by a Swiss PGA Pro, assessing:

• Tee shots & long game – Hitting minimum distances.
• Short game – Pitching, chipping, bunker shots, and putting.

Playing on the Course

Final test on a 6-9 hole course approved by Swiss Golf.
Includes etiquette, gameplay, and scoring assessment.
Pass & submit your scorecard to register your first handicap.

Once passed, your first handicap is recognized when you hold a Swiss Golf card through an affiliated club or public golf organisation (ASGI or Migros GolfCard).
